Who we are
Studio5 is a trade name of Sahil Miglani, sole proprietor, based in Gurugram, Haryana, India. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Studio5. We are responsible for the personal data described here.
What we collect
This website has no user accounts, no forms and no advertising or tracking cookies. We only collect personal data in three ways:
- Emails you send us. Your name, email address and anything you choose to include in your message.
- Booking details via Cal.com. When you book a call, Cal.com collects your name, email address, the time you pick and any notes you add, and shares them with us. Cal.com handles that data under its own privacy policy.
- Basic hosting logs. Our hosting provider, Vercel, automatically records technical data such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request.
Why we use it
- To reply to you and prepare for and hold the calls you book.
- To scope and quote work you ask us about.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising. Where a law such as the GDPR requires a legal basis, we rely on our legitimate interest in responding to you and on taking steps you have asked for before entering into a contract.
Who we share it with
Only with service providers that help us run the business: our email provider, Cal.com for scheduling and Vercel for hosting. They may process data outside your country, including in India and the United States. If you become a client, your engagement agreement sets out how we handle project data.
How long we keep it
We keep emails and booking details for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and keep reasonable business records, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact unless you become a client. Client records are kept for as long as our agreement and Indian tax and accounting law require. Hosting logs are kept by Vercel for a limited period under its own retention settings.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, object to how we use it, or ask for a copy. To use any of these rights, email hello@studio5.in. We will reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including access controls on the accounts that hold it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
